Masterminds is recruiting a Sales Manager for a well-known Leading Hospitality Company based in Adma:
Candidate Profile:
•Male/ Female, Presentable
•Bachelor Degree in Hospitality/ Marketing or equivalent.
•3 years of experience in a similar position.
•Responsible for ensuring the maintenance of all equipment within the department
•Being aware of implement all relevant aspects of health & safety regulation & Hotel procedures.
•Ability to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
•Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
•Good computer skills.
•Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the Rooms
•Ability to apply supervisory /management soft skills.
•Professionally represents the hotel in community and industry organizations and events.
•Provides feedback and support to all departments.
•Participates as a team player with all departments.
•Assists with projects and reports.
Job Description:
•To manage a determined number of Key Accounts, Key Prospects and Other Active Files.
•To initiate action plans for developing Key Prospects and new business opportunities.
•Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.
•Prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance.
•Participate in daily business review meeting, pre-convention meetings, training and other sales-related meetings as required.
•Work with other departments within the hotel to provide quality service to customers.
•Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings.
•Develop/maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers.
•To assist, supervise, coordinate and manage sales executives in preparation of sales calls, account list, entertainment calendar, and other related issues.
•To profile and action leads generated by the local Market Research Executive, which fall within the corporate market
•To develop action plans for sales for achievement of room night and average rate goals
•Within established parameters, quote and negotiate prices with customers and customer representatives, and draw up contracts to close the transaction
•Follow up with appropriate hotels and departments to ensure delivery of excellent guest service as appropriate
•To maintain a full account data base within the Delphi or Fidelio sales system
•Achieves and if possible exceeds, targets set by Operations Manager and the Marketing Manager to ensure the hotel is meeting its sales revenue targets etc…
Schedule: Monday through Friday: from 9:00 AM till 5:00 PM
Saturday: from 9:00 AM till 1:00 PM
